as a graphic artist, i will throw my 2 cents worth in the pot....

i agree with lisa that a logo should look good in all sizes. i have always 
thought that the current logo, when made smaller, really is hard to view. i 
like 
the old fashioned feel to some degree, but also find it too busy. on the 
other hand, i find the new one too plain and ordinary for the uniqueness of 
this 
horse ( apologies to whomever the designer is). also, what about color? is 
there a reason they both are shown only in black and white.

i think more suggestions should be presented, even by members of the 
organization with artistic talents and then start from there. the two we are 
looking 
at now are almost like two sides of the same coin.

i would be glad to add a design to the pot if we decide to view more options.
