Awww, thanks guys. Spoke to Jeff today and he was just getting in the
drivers seat of the big red truck, and getting deployed back to Orange Co.
where
the winds have given the firefighters a break today. He got some manditory
time off yesterday ( 12 hours ) and I caught up with him by phone at a
laundrymat trying to get dirt out of the clothes he had on since Thurs.

He does not know if they will be sent out to " mop up " somewhere in S.
Calif, or get to go back to his area or ??? For now, days off are cancelled so
he wont be comming home on Thurs.

Many homes were lost on this series of fires. Many people reporting that
they had 2-3 min. to flee.

Everyone go clear something around your house today.....wood pile, brush
ect. Make plans to quickly evacuate your horse(s). Organize neighbors to
specific jobs in the case of a local disaster. It made the difference for many
people in CA. now getting almost USED to this. Lisa
