Hi Carol, I am so tickled to know who had won! Nice job! Maybe next year if they offer that class again, more Fjord owners could participate and make our presence known! Great PR for our breed. The video shoot of Dusty, scheduled for this Sat., has been postponed since it is supposed to rain, but we will reschedule when the weather permits. An interesting side note, I had a visit recently from a gal named Denay Love who has debuted a new micro brew beer named after her Fjord gelding. The can is adorable with a stylistic picture of her & her Fjord. Gayle Ware Field of Dreams Eugene, OR Hello all, I am not used to posting on this digest but thought I'd give it a try! :) My husband is the owner of the Fjord that won the All Breed Trail Challenge at Albany, OR during the Northwest Horse Expo. That was his first competition and we are hoping to do more with him. He's a soon to be 7 year old and was bought from Lauren Sellars. His registered name is Snowy's Mezlo and we have owned him for 4 years. The trainer is Jessica Bishop and us, his owners. We are trying to post the videos to you tube so you can enjoy them but haven't figured that out yet since most of us are computer challenged! He has been a joy to work with and he has just learned to jump this year thanks to Jessica. We taught him his other tricks such as picking up things and handing them to us while riding. We have had so much fun working with his personality and building on the things he loves to do. We were shocked that he handled the crowd and the water obstacle so well. I have been to your place Gayle but it has been a long time ago. Thanks for mentioning our win.
