It sounds like they will have for download Flash Player 8 and Adobe Reader for download for a while and eventually create a Flash Player X.

Flash Player X = Flash Player 8 + Adobe Reader

I wouldn't call it a central tho. Hopefully the file size will remain small or only marginally increase.
