I agree with j.c. Being a fairly young developer I find myself bringing in all sorts of resources in to my projects. It all depends on the project and what it entails. The beauty of OOP is that it's reusable and once your library is big enough you'll find that the work you've put into it will pay off, making your life easier. Anyways that's my two cents.
