I have a couple components that have background images and other visual assets that are not always used. I have created inspectable properties that allow the user to turn off the images if they do not want them. However the file size of the component is still the same. My assumption is that the background images are still downloaded.
My question is it possible to have a component when dragged onto the stage drop movie clips into the library. This would allow the user to edit those movie clips or delete them if they do not want them. My hope is to keep the file size of components down and make it as easy as possible for people to customize the components when they want to without doubling the size of the component.
