You can do that. But any instance will do.
Yes, but in this instance, he wants to know when the Flash movie loses focus - hence my point about listening to the events on the stage - a button or other event dispatcher may lose focus at any time, but the Flash movie may still have focus. I don't mean to be rude, but you are splitting hairs where they don't need to be split to solve the problem.
