Hi Everyone, The Western North Carolina State Medical Assistance Team 6 will be involved in a mock disaster drill beginning at 17:00 (5:00 PM) EDT today 7 May 2010.
As part of this exercise I will be acting as a forward deployed unit working from Cape Hatteras and establishing communication back to the Main Team in Asheville NC across the state. I would like to incorporate digital communications in my testing this evening from 19:00 - 22:00 (7 to 10 PM) EDT. I propose to work either 20 M at 14071.00 and/or 30 meters at 10140.00 using PSK 250R or Domino EX11. This will provide base data for deployment plans and response for our network. If any members of the Alpha Testing team would be interested in participation please let me know. I propose to send traffic out of our area to another station and provide information regarding forwarding via Internet. Use of Flics and Wrap would be very nice and one reason for picking the two modes we have. Throughput for one and reliability of the other.
