The reason why I push on this is: Gradle is a lot easier to use for beginners.
Maven proofed to be a nightmare for some of my configurations. Mostly because
of the quality in flex-mojos but also because complex configurations require a
lot more expertise. The reason for Gradle over Rake is that there is a GradleFX
project for Flex mojos and its written in Groovy - a JavaVM dialect.
