Thanks for getting back to me. I'm not sure how much work effort would be involved in adding this feature, as I don't have any experience writing Maven plugins or even much Java. Do you think this would be a non-trivial feature to implement, or would it take significant time?
Flash Builder has it's 'Release Build' feature that optimizes all SWF files, including modules - would be great to see FlexMojo able to compile modules that are as small as the Flash Builder Release Builds.
