Well couldn't you download the flex sdk in exaclty the same version from adobe (http://opensource.adobe.com/wiki/display/flexsdk/Download+Flex+4), unpack it and compare that to the textLayout.swf from flexmojos ... if those files match (which I would assume) then you can be certain that the corresponding swz file of that sdk is binary compatible.
But after all I think your build might work by deploying it manually, but if Adobe goes offline the flash player will look for the version defined in the SDK (1.1.0.604) which it will not find in your rsl directory ... but that's just a guess.
