I think you are making it way too hard for your self.

If you are the only one consuming the data, why go to all the trouble of 
creating a SOAP service?

If it were me, I would use remote objects using a gateway (Such as WebORB - 
http://www.themidnightcoders.com/products/weborb-for-net/overview.html).
