You know what I’d love to see …..   After taking Alex Uhlmann’s “Creating cinematic experiences .. “ at MAX last week, I have to say that I am worried that flex will never compete with Windows vista XAML unless there is some integration with OpenGL, DirectX or something like that to allow for true 3D Experiences (instead of Sandy, the great but limited 3D API for AS3)   I realize that one can create a lot of these effects using Pseudo 3D Distortion maps, etc. but Apollo puts us on the client with access to the hardware which is not possible with ActiveX.
