Well, we'd love to see the feature in (which is why I asked :-) ). Obviously if you have this ability, you can write a trivial exe wrapper to get the shared object/DLL functions Jerome wanted. As an example, we'd have our users drag the Apollo application off our dashboard-type reports web site onto their desktop, and it would poll the server for changes. On something interesting, it'll announce the event, and offer options to 'email this alert'.
