I think that if we could talk to a dll (Mac equivalent, Linux equivalent) like via a local remote call type thing, then that would be the ultimate. I don't think distributing the dll (etc..) would be a big deal. With that you' d basically use any DB you like. Plus allot of other crazy stuff you could do.
