Obviously I'm biased so take my two cents for what they're worth.
MAX is a fun conference. That said, 360|Flex will be three days of Flex, Flex, and Flex. No acrobat, no dreamweaver, fireworks, no CF, flash IDE, just Flex. We cover Flex with backends (so there's at least one talk with CF in it LOL ) Components, Apollo, etc. As was said, the Flex team tends to be there, people looking for Flex devs are there, I know several people that met clients there. I met several, as well as potential employers. It's a Flex Fest for sure. Drive to MAX? then you miss out on all the partying and drinkin'! :) Hopefully that helped even a little in the decision. If you're looking for resources for learning Flex, go to 360Flex. Max is an Adobe conference, and I suspect will have a ton of non-Flex content, plus will focus more on "cool people using our product / product roadmap / company roadmap " without going deep into details.
