What's throwing me off is that I never "ignored" the bin folder... Trust me, I used Perforce for the last five years at work, I'm very much a newb when it comes to SVN (well, at least I was a year ago when I started using it regularly).
I just plugged-in Subclipse, created a new Flex project, then right-clicked on the project and chose "Team -> Share Project..." and chose to share it through SVN. I encountered absolutely no problems sync'ing between 3 machines daily until we added a second user and he used Tortoise SVN (because he was new to Flex and didn't know about Subclipse) and just checked in his whole project folder...
