That worked!
 
I still get the following warning:
 
Data binding will not be able to detect changes when using square
bracket operator. For Array, please use ArrraCollection.getItemAt()
instead.
 
But it still works.

If you use the square brackets then you don't use the dot so it should
be:

dataProvider="{chartXML2.lastResult[month].day}"
