http://reenie.org/test/zoomComponent/zoomtest.html This is a new example which is the same as the one below (zoom with effects) but it uses a mxml component based on the tile container, and AS classes for the effects.
It still doesn't zoom to 100% because I don't know how to get an effect to do that.
