This is going to be much harder to do as you will have to totally reconfigure
the PowerSDR console to move the buttons and controls around in order to make
it look like a different radio. It will take a bit of C# programming knowledge
for starters.

Well, it was just an idea that someone floated out there that I thought might
be interesting. I'm certainly not capable of pulling it off. Maybe something as
simple as duplicating the panel colors ala Heathkit would be a start.

Subject: Re: [FlexEdge] Skins - Public Domain, a start
Thank you George! This is the type of thing I'm hoping to see happen. It will
be great to have a selection of public domain skins to play with.
Who knows, I might even try and learn something new and either modify some of
the public domain skins or try and create my own.
A quick question for you or anyone else who might know... Is there any freebie
software out there that would allow me to create or modify skins? Not trying to be cheap
but I can't see investing a lot of dollars into a commercial graphics program just to
"play". I'd hate to spend the money and then find out I wasn't good enough to
create my own skins.
BTW, I don't know where it was, I think I was in a live chat going on during
Dayton, but I remeber someone suggesting that it might be interesting to create

skins. That would be pretty cool I think, if it were possible.

Doesn 't seem to affect anything.
You can get the two files as follows:

http://www.townsoft.com/george/picdisplay.png
I arbitrarily chose to start with these two files and you may modify these files as you
choose. There is no guarantee or implication that you will be able to use these files,
and no guarantee or implication that you will like them. These two files do not imply
any critism of the Flex-Radio skins; but, are presented in lite of all of the posts
regarding "skins".
Be sure to back up your current files before you over write them with these
files.
