And if you ever ran com0com, make SURE you remove all its virtual ports and 
deactivate.  That got me at FD, and took some head scratching to figure out, it 
was NOT obvious why all these ports were showing up in the device manager, and 
shown to be physical ports in vsp manager.  Once i ran com0com, deleted the 
ports and removed the software, things ran the way I would have expected with 
vsp manager.  Yet another brilliant mistake on my part, at least I figured it 
out.
