And if you overclock your PC, running Prime95 in stress test mode will tell you 
really quickly if you have pushed it too far.

I wasn't able to find the source of my BSOD's using the burn in software you 
suggested.

However, I was able to find an intermittent problem with a DRAM module by using 
a free program I found called MemTest 86+.

 

It flexes all the system memory for hours, in many contortions, on end until 
problems emerge.

It found a memory issue the Windows 7 memory test couldn't find.

 

Replacing the offending module solved my BSOD issue.

 

You likely already know about it but, I thought I'd share with the group.
