I have been a bit surprised too. I have see several positive posts. I tried
it and I posted. I was pretty amazed at how well 2.0.19 seems to fix most of
the outstanding problems. I would have thought that more happy people would
post.

Now, we have a release which seems to fix the issue according to a

It is certainly fixed on my systems. I have tried it now on the 5000, 3000,
and 1500, each on a different type of computer (home-built AMD system,
MacBook Pro, and iMac respectively) and it works great on all three.

The interesting thing is, for an analog radio, CW is the simplest thing. For
SDR running on PC hardware with Windows it is one of the more difficult
problems. Windows just assumes that it is OK to get things done, not that
they get done in any particular amount of time or that the time it takes to
run it this time must be same amount of time it takes to run it next time.
So CW was a really hard problem for Flex.

Someone posted about the issue of people tending to complain but not about
how happy they are. When it is working, they forget about that and just go
on with the next thing. When it is broken, they complain.

I agree.

It doesn't matter as long as you are making progress. Don't let anyone give
you grief. We all started from somewhere.
