So since I have hardware ports of com 1-3 it "should" assign com 4. With my
first VSP port starting at com 7, I just might get away with it.
In any case resetting the com ports is not that big of deal, yes a pain
maybe, but not serious. Besides I take screen shots of all my settings.
It makes setting up a new version a lot easier, I don't have to remember
them all.

I haven't seen the errata sheet but there are NO issues with operating the
FlexControl with either VSP Manager and/or the Eltima Serial to Ethernet
bridge - I am using both.
I believe the errata sheet provided a recommended installation procedure in
order to avoid a possible collision between the Windows hardware wizard and
the underlying drivers used by VSP Manager.
Specifically, the Windows HW Wizard will assign the first available COM port
which is not already registered to the system as a HARDWARE port, to the
FlexContol when it is first installed.
