Hi.
I encounter drop outs, when my PowerSDR is running here.
Also SDR close down from time to time.
I can hear the drop outs, if SDR is running, and I for instance start
other apllications up.
Flex 5000A, Windows7 Ultimate 32bit, 4G of RAM, PSDR 2.1.2 RC3.
The DPC's are max 437uS. That is just after start up. After it runs at
max 175uS.
The Sample Rate is 96kHz, buffer size 1024 and Opertaion Mode Normal.
I have also did a run with LatencyMonitor.
The results are here:
Your system appears to be suitable for playing real time audio without
dropouts.
Time running: 0:51:12
Highest DPC routine execution time (µs): 374
Responsible driver: ndis.sys (NDIS 6.20 driver,
Microsoft Corporation)
DPC count (execution time <500 µs): 73314507
DPC count (execution time 500-999 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time 1000-1999 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time 2000-3999 µs): 0
DPC count (execution time >=4000 µs): 0
Highest ISR routine execution time (µs): 165
Responsible driver: dxgkrnl.sys (DirectX Graphics
Kernel, Microsoft Corporation)
ISR count (execution time <250 µs): 122180668
ISR count (execution time 250-499 µs): 0
ISR count (execution time 500-999 µs): 0
ISR count (execution time 1000-1999 µs): 0
ISR count (execution time >=2000 µs): 0
Highest pagefault resolution time (µs): 35519
Hard pagefault count (total): 99
Number of processes hit: 1
Pagefault count of hardest hit process: 99
Process with highest pagefault count: LatMon.exe (PID: 3140,
DispatchMon and LatencyMon, Resplendence Software Projects)
NOTE: some processes were hit by hard pagefaults. If these were programs
producing audio, they are likely to interrupt the audio stream resulting
in dropouts, clicks and pops. Check the Processes tab to see which
programs were hit.
Note: execution times may be calculated based on a fixed reported CPU
speed. Disable variable speed settings like Intel Speed Step and AMD
Cool N Quiet in the BIOS setup for more accurate results.
Reported CPU speed: 2666 MHz
What are suggestions for finding the culprit(s) ?.
