List I am running PowerSDR 2.2.2 BETA on Windows 7 64. Radio is a Flex-30000
I never ran the frequency calibration before yesterday. I have had an email exchange with a fellow flexer on this but I am still having questions. Every time I run the calibration from PowerSDR Setup> General> Calibration I get a different result for the DDS Clock under General> Hardware Config Clock Offest. The rotation in the Phase display never remains non rotational for long after I do run one. The reason I got into this was I wondered why my ORG in WSPR was being reported quite a bit high by everyone. I was transmitting at 10.140260 yet many stations reported me above 10.140280. Now I know that some of those stations are not spot on on RX either but some of them should have been close. Once I ran the Calibration some did get pretty close to being spot on which is what I would expect. Now the reason for the different result from different calibrations and the rotation of the signal in the Phase display after adjustment has me worried something might be wrong with my Flex-3000. Quite frankly I'd go into withdrawals if I had to do without PowerSDR for more than a few days if I had to ship it back to Austin. I also be worried the whole time it was gone.I don't trust shipping companies or that they would quickly replace my rig if they damaged it or lost it in route. I don't have the money to replace my F3K or to fight with shipping companies to get my damages covered should something happen if I did have to ship it and something bad happened. The last radio I shipped Texas was returned with a nice big hole punched onto the factory shipping container and it was quite a bit more substantial box than the box my F3K came in.
