I'm not at all sure it is arrogant.  Ask your favorite rice box radio
manufacturer what they have in the developmental pipeline and see what
answer you get.  Interest on our part does not create an obligation on
Gerald's part.  I suspect that the great majority of Flex owners couldn't
give a tupenny dam (yes, that's dam, not damn) whether DI is alive and well,
moribund, or dead.  They're just enjoying their gear.

That being said, his position may cause him more problems than it solves,
given how quick we in this little community are to carp, complain, and
criticize to any and everyone who will listen.  My own view is that he would
be money ahead to sit down and write a page or two of explanatory material
and be done with it.  But he certainly does not have any obligation or
responsibility to do so just because we are all curious.  It is just a plain
old business decision, not a moral issue.

His position isn't arrogant, IMO, but it may be injudicious.
