Rather reluctantly, I gave in and loaded DXlab launcher and Commander on
my system. I have PowerSDR and Commander talking to each other fine and
I checked the Commander enable box in JT-65HF but still no joy. JT-65HF
is still not picking up the frequency. What am I missing here?

I know of no way to get JT65-HF to read the radio frequency except by
using one of the programs available on the "Rig Control/PTT" tab of
the Configuration form. I'm like you, HRD is just too big but you can
use a small footprint program like DXLab Suites Commander. Set up a
virtual serial port pair from your radio to Commander and check the
Commander enable box on JT65-HF. It works fine here.
Maybe someone else has discovered a magic way of doing it.

Does anyone know how to make JT-65HF pick up the frequency info

told me it could be done and the answer was in the Flexwiki but if
it's there, I can't find it.
I hope it doesn't involve using HRD or minideluxe because I'm
trying to get away from those programs. Is there a way?
