But you really don't need it because temperature rise usually isn't a
problem. I run my 5000, 3000, and 1500 for long periods of time at nearly
full output all the time. When running continuous-carrier signals like
Thor, Olivia, etc., I will run the 5000 and 3000 at 80W output for 10
minutes at a time. (I tend to be a bit long-winded in some QSOs. :-) I have
never seen the PA temp go over 85C in my shack. No sweat. As I recall, Flex
says that the PA should stay under 100C and the devices are rated for much
higher than that.
