I got my first DDC (Digital Down or Direct Digital Conversion) receiver about four years ago. It is a receiver only and they have since added a DUC transmitter. The Blocking Dynamic Range is in the order of 119db. There are several others on the market but have mainly been adopted by the "bleeding edge" experimenters thus far. Congrats to Flex for bring a product to the market more suitable for the masses. It has been interesting over the years to observe the debates between the two (I/Q and DDC) architectures. In the real world they are both great receivers.

Welcome to the future.
