Has anyone fooled with modifying the SDR-1000 to simultaneously transmit and receive (that is, split the output of the QSE and the QSD to bring them separately out, rather than "wire or" ing them at the transformer.

For instance, if you wanted to use the SDR-1000 to excite and measure an impedance bridge?

Or, if you had an external transverter, and you wanted separate Tx and Rx paths?

What about bringing the LO signals out? Anybody tried buffering the output of the low pass filters on the DDS output?
