John   How about a discussion on mics you would recommend. (Or other’s recommend). I just bought the Berringer mixer today and when I was picking up some connectors at Rat Shack, I glanced at the various, ‘studio’ quality looking Mics, I know that you or Rick recommended one in the $50 dollar range which worked well. I’ve never bought a mic before in my 41 yrs of ham, except those which came with a rig or VHF ‘talk FM’ radio. Now that I have the SDR I may actually ‘talk’ into a radio! Your presentation was great at Dayton, and you have me ‘hooked on phonics’. I went to the Atlanta Hamfest Sat and was goin’ to buy Heil mic, but the array was bewildering, and my knowledge scant.
