Bob,

I tried to key the rig with an external paddle plugged into the key jack, and with the 'PA Present' selection on the Setup panel unchecked to protect the amplifier. I selected the Santa Cruz card, but can't key the radio when selecting 'MOX' and squeezing the paddle. I also tried using 'unsupported' sound card with the D44 in place, but that doesn't work either.

I'd really, really, really like to try the new keyer. What am I missing?

I downloaded the code. NEW_KEYER is enabled by mistake in the project
settings for Console. There are no controls for the new keyer.

For those of you wanting to try it. No open panel is required. In fact, it gets in the way. For those of you able to compile, and if you do not like 40 wpm,
you may change the speed only by compiling because the new controls are
not yet added. cwkeyer.cs has code DttSP.NewKeyer call and the
40.0 argument says to set it to 40 wpm. It is in iambic B mode and it
is sampling the parallel port 500 times a second. These settings have to
be made variable and settable for the keyer to be complete.

There is no PTT with this keyer yet. The only way to use it is to MOX.

For those who can send 40 wpm, give it a try.

Bob
