Yes, I forgot to mention anything about editors. Any text file editor will work. Yes, PowerSDR would have to support multiple com ports for this to work. Another way would be adding a TCPListener to PowerSDR that will allow you to connect with a socket and send/rx CAT commands. A separate TCPClient program then would connect the TCP side to the virtual com port side and on to the third party programs such as logging programs or HRD. The TCPListener in PowerSDR could accept multiple connections this way.
