Maybe I just am not capable. But I am having a terrible time using cw. I
am using 1.4.2 version, and can't seem to get the timing on the keyer. I
have been primarily a cw op for 46 years. Perhaps now with 1.4.4 I can use
an external keyer successfully. I would rather use the internal keyer, but
I am struggling.
I also have the problem of low output on ssb. I am using an RE27 and mic
preamp from w2ihy box. I get good looking indications on the console, but
very low output into my digital wattmeter which I use to monitor output from
all other radios in the shack.
I hope to make the meeting this weekend in Austin and confer with many
experts. hi
