As a follow-up to my previous plea for help, I have tried defining comm. Port 1 in the SDR software for CAT control and using a gender changer connecting comm. Port 1 to the RS 232 port on the band decoder with no success. I have also tried connecting comm 1 to the PC port and that did not work either.
Should I be trying a null modem connector instead of a regular db-9 cable? Neal k3nc
