I think I went through something like this in the past. If I recall correctly, and Im not at my radio right now, if you have the D44 sound card set up with a 1024 buffer, you need to have the audio dsp tab set up to the same. If they start out the same and you change the dsp audio tab to something that does not match what the sound card is set to, then problems start like what you are describing. So if you change the audio buffers, turn off the radio and make sure the soundcard buffers are at the same setting.

The only way I can revive the sdr is to import a database from another version on the computer. I guess with this action - that is setting the dsp and audio latencies - the database is corrupted or something? It has happened about two weeks apart exactly in the same manner.
