Most on this list are aware there is a group called HPSDR (High Performance Software Defined Radio) and many are part of that activity. The genesis of the group were a few SDR-1000 owners and some of the early communication was conducted on this Flex discussion list.
Back in December, we started a discussion list specifically for the group (then known as the Xylo-SDR group) to take the traffic off this list. We have also taken advantage of the forums provided by Dale at hamsdr.com. In early March, the group name was changed to the present HPSDR and a website established to supplement the discussion list and forum. Now a wiki has been added to provide deeper detail and latest information. If you have an interest in this group, there are multiple ways of finding out what the group is all about and what it is "up to"... 1. Website: http://hpsdr.org - provides a good overview of the project and its modules. It is kept fairly well up to date and should suffice for the more casual interest. 2. Wiki: http://hpsdr.org/wiki/index.php?title=HpsdrWiki:Community_Portal At the moment, several project developers have edit access and have updated the wiki information to reflect "near current" status. This would be a good resource for those who would like more detail and cutting edge news than the website provides. 3. Discussion List: http://hpsdr.org/reflector.html to sign up or http://lists.hpsdr.org/pipermail/hpsdr-hpsdr.org/ to just read the archives. Traffic on the list has varied from less than one message per day to a recent high in the 60's! This is the way to participate in the designs or to keep up on the very latest directions. 4. HAMSDR.COM: there are some postings here, but more importantly, this is the place to sign up to buy any PC boards produced. But please read about the boards on our website hpsdr.org and ask questions on the hpsdr discussion list. 5. Teamspeak: same channel as the sessions held for the SDR-1000, and in fact HPSDR project is often discussed on the Friday evening (USA time) weekly session. Separate HPSDR sessions are sometimes held. This is an extremely exciting time and project. Thank you for reading this information and if you're interested, try one or more of the resources mentioned above.
