I don't know what the output impedance of the D44 is, however that
question has been asked before. I don't think I ever saw an answer.
I don't think it's going to matter unless you use some old high-Z
headphones. I would stick with something around 50 to 200 ohms. Also
don't forget you can adjust the output level of the D-44 in the
control panel in three steps, -10dB, 0dB and +4dB to suit the level
needed for your headphones, etc.

I use a pair of Stanton DJ Pro 2000 headphones and they are 64 ohms
and audio sounds GREAT with them. With the right headphones or
speakers, the SDR1K can produce an amazing range of audio frequencies.
With my headphones, I can clearly hear down to about 30 cycles and no
telling what top end, and that's with some nearly 50 year old ears
that worked in a rock quarry as a driller in their early twenties ;)

If you want to hear in BIN mode, you might consider getting ones that
are stereo, switchable to either stereo or mono.
