I have been reading this thread and am confused. Are you talking about 
snap, crackle or pop? I had a unfamiliar poping noise with the latest software
that I fixed with increasing the audio buffer size. The poping occured 
at the same time as the srd1000 window was being painted. It sounds 
like you and others are having the same problem.
