I also use D44 card 96k and 2048 Buffer. But there is one thing I forgot to 
tell you (sorry for that!): a while ago I replaced the old original 
Low-Noise AMP (SGA-4586) with a Gali74 LNA. The Gali74 gives 10dB more gain 
than the SGA6286 that is used in the new SDR-1000 Version. The price for the 
higher gain and sensitivity is worse Input IP3 (abt10dB) down. On shortwave 
bands I always use preamp-med settinng (10dB Attenuator) to reduce overdrive 
and phantom signals. So I think your readings might be ok if you have the 
SGA6286 installed. Maybe someone with original SDR-hardware can confirm your 
readings.
