Phil, I use N1MM logger for contests (general DX work also). N1MM logger grabs the focus & controls the SDR-1000. I have the Griffin PowerMate & programmed it to work with N1MM as well as with PowerSDR. All operations are with N1MM logger & the SDR1000 follows right along. No need to switch the focus between apps.
