  That is correct.  The BCI filter is simply detuning the BPF from the 160m
  band to the 60m band.  You WILL lose some signal in the detuning... this is
  what keeps the in-band signals from overloading the front end.

  The reason 807X does not appear to lose signal is because the meter and the
  display are being adjusted to compensate for the loss.

  Now when the BCI Rejection button is activated every signal on 160 is
  reduced. 807X does not do this. Since there are lots of night time signals
  on the band I can't tell until tommorow about the broadcast interference.
