Everything worked fine with my Pentium 4/Intel 2.8 MHz main-board using a ultra
ATA/100 Seagate internal drive and a Delta 44. I added a SATA II Maxtor/300 and
the noise began. The noise sounds like ignition noise by a near by engine
idling. When I disconnect the SATA cable from the main-board the noise stops.
Noise is present even with power to the SATA drive is disconnected. NB
surpression has no effect. Has anyone solved this one?
