Burch, Get a $65 DownEast, or an AR2 or a LNA 6 meter preamp. All under $100. I have tried them all. It will bring your SDR1000 receiver up with the best rigs and better!
I use a TE Systems amp .5watt to 170 watts, (only need 50 watts) and a ACOM1000 to get 1k+ output.
