Make sure that you have the VAC settings for input and output setup 
correctly in the third party SW.   In otherwords VAC output (located 
in Settings => Audio => VAC)  set to the input of Hamscope for 
example.  This is the usual mistake,   and if you have updated the 
PowerSDR and reset the database,  it goes back to defaults,  so be 
sure to double check..
