I'm not sure I fully understand what is being proposed here and my comment
may not be relevant.
But, I want to make sure that whatever is changed does not have a negative
impact on other digital modes. At this time nothing seems broken to me , so
why fix it? (as I said, I may not fully understand) I love my Flex and the
way it interfaces with DX Labs. What a great combo! I have run most all
digital modes, but don't claim to be an expert on any one of them. I use
DigL on all digital modes with no problems. The only time I use DigU is on
20 meter digital SSTV where the convention is USB. This allows you to hear
the conversation between pictures. On 40 SSTV I use DigL for the same
reason.
Please consider the effect of any proposed change on all possible modes
before changing anything. Don't take any "flex" out of the Flexradio/DX Labs
experience. As I said, it seems to work great.
That being said, I will live with what the experts decide is best.

I understand now. I misread the initial message in my haste and thought
the move was to USB and not DigiU. Sounds okay to me.
