One of the real beautiful thing about this hobby is that there are so
many aspects that you can enjoy that it never gets dull. As
enthusiatic as I am abt my 5000a (and believe its getting very close
to appliance-operator status) it will still not be everyone's cup of
tea. Rather than get upset, I say "Right on!" If knobs makes you
happy and you get on the air a bunch, turn those suckers. If you
prefer PowerSDR (I no longer have any knobs) and are active, Wonderful!

Rather than turn "e-ham nasty", we should appreciate everyone is
different and one size never fit all. Its probably a great thing as
many people are pushing the boundaries in ways we don't know and will
not appreciate until much later!

See you on the bands!
