I consider automatic install of updates to be a big problem, I have
no choice at work where I have 200 PC's to take care of, but my
servers and my personal PC's are set to notify me but do not install,
that way I have the option to refuse some updates. IE7 is a program
that I ended having to write a global policy to keep from coming in
because of all the problems it caused with our legacy applications.

I have been experimenting with Vista Business at home and have not
tried running PowerSDR software yet, most things are working fine but
today I'm sitting here trying to find why my email will not work (not
this one), it's a bizarre problem but I hold the ultimate card, the power plug.
