Ha!!

If it ain't the elevator it's probably an electric motor somewhere nearby.

I was hoping you folks would come out with something similar to the Timewave
ANC-4 with the phasing done in PowerSDR. I tried the Timewave without success.
Was not able to null the noise sufficiently. It did dip on the Panadaptor but
not enough to help.

Bill if you like I'll send you screenshot of that half moon pattern that I'm
getting on my Panadaptor to compare. The elevator has been out of service since
Wednesday (great for operating on 80 meters especially) so you'll have to wait
until next week before it's up and running again.Edwin MarzanAB2VW

Very interesting. I think this is our first report of elevator noise. J
Perhaps we can someday have an ENB (Elevator Noise Blanker). Something to go
with the WPIB (Water Pipe Interference Blocker).

[Flexradio] Strange Audio Noise

Hello gents, I am receiving the exact signal. It has been tracked down to
elevator noise. My landlord put in a new elevator in the summer and now I'm
receiving exactly what you described. This is not a Flex problem in my view.
I've been told by other ham operators that the new elevators need to be
installed with a filter. I have yet to approach my landlord as I am just glad
that he lets me use the roof. My problem occurs on 40 and 80 meters. I hope
this helps.Edwin MarzanAB2VW> From: [EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: [EMAIL PROTECTED];
